Responding to the needs of our local community, we are thrilled to be host to a Community Hub in partnership with Community Hubs Australia.
The St Brendan's Community Hub is a safe and welcoming place for families and our local community to connect, develop new skills and support each other.
The activities and events we offer are provided at no cost and include:
- Playgroup and Stay & Play
- English Classes
- Citizenship Classes
- Computer Classes
- Yoga
- Sewing Class
- Gardening Club
- Breakfast Club
Community Hubs Australia is accredited under the Australian Service Excellence Standards, an accreditation that covers all corporate functions and services.
The National Community Hubs Program supports culturally diverse families, particularly mothers with young children, to connect, share, and learn. Hubs bridge the gap between families and the wider community; they connect women with schools, each other, and organisations that can provide health, education, and support.
