Our Year 5/6 students enjoyed an unforgettable day at the Ekka, Brisbane’s iconic Royal Queensland Show. The excursion was filled with excitement, learning, and plenty of smiles as students explored all the wonders the Ekka has to offer.

From cuddling farm animals and discovering the importance of agriculture, to sampling delicious Australian produce, the day provided hands-on experiences that brought classroom learning to life. Students also had the thrill of cheering on the high-energy motocross team, a highlight that had everyone on the edge of their seats!

The Ekka excursion gave our students a deeper appreciation for Queensland’s farming heritage and the incredible people who make it possible. It was a day of fun, friendship, and discovery—one that our Year 5/6 students will remember for years to come.
