What Happens in the Library?
Students visit the library each week to:
- Explore a wide range of print and digital resources
- Build information literacy and critical thinking skills
- Experience the joy of reading for fun and learning
Literacy Programs That Support Learning
Our staff work closely with classroom teachers to deliver programs that:
- Support classwork and curriculum goals
- Build students' understanding of stories and texts
- Strengthen research and inquiry skills
- Encourage independent reading and lifelong learning habits
- Support individual students' needs and interests
These programs are carefully designed to suit each year level and are woven into everyday learning.
Fun Beyond the Books
The library is also a space where students can relax, play and connect with friends. During break times, students can enjoy:
- Chess
- LEGO building
- Minecraft
- Card games
- Board games
- Craft
- Homework and assignment catch-up
These activities help children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, social skills and confidence in a friendly and inclusive environment.
