Our Religious Education program helps students explore the richness of the Catholic tradition and connect it meaningfully to their everyday lives.
We aim to nurture thoughtful, compassionate individuals who live with kindness, respect, compassion and purpose.
Four Strands of Learning
The Religion Curriculum P–12 is built around four key strands, which are taught in engaging and age-appropriate ways:
Sacred Texts
Students explore stories from the Old and New Testaments, learning about the authors, messages and how these teachings apply to life today.Beliefs
Students discover the meaning and importance of Christian and Catholic beliefs and reflect on how these beliefs guide people in today's world.Church
Students take part in prayer, liturgy and rituals and learn about the Sacraments of Initiation and the life of the Church.Christian Life
Students develop moral reasoning and learn how to live with compassion and integrity, using the Bible as a guide.
These strands are supported by prayers and scripture texts that are matched to each year level.
Respect for All Faiths
Our Religious Education program also helps students understand and respect other world religions. We encourage critical thinking and empathy, helping students appreciate how people of different faiths live out their beliefs.
Religious Life of the School
Students are taught how to apply Christian values and Catholic Social Teachings in daily life through prayer, ritual, celebrations, and social justice initiatives. We foster a strong sense of community by engaging in liturgical celebrations and outreach activities that reflect our mission of service and compassion.
