Live in Faith and Love
As a Catholic learning community, St Brendan's Primary School aspires to educate all children about Jesus Christ, based on the charism of the Josephites, so they might grow to be successful, creative, confident and active people empowered to shape and enrich our world through the values of Faith, Community, Courage and Excellence.
Our Catholic identity is present and actively incorporated into our faith, academic, and community lives. The vision and values of Catholic education underpin all that we do at St Brendan's. Our Catholic identity;
- provides one means by which students are assisted to develop their spiritual and moral capabilities.
- heightens students' awareness of the mystery which permeates life.
- helps students to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God.
- helps students develop moral sensitivities and a sense of responsibility.
- helps students to develop self-worth.
- helps students to communicate on religious matters.
- helps students appreciate the Catholic and religious heritage of others.
- helps provide students with opportunities to engage in practical projects to promote and support a just society.
Religious and Faith Life
As a learning community brought together in faith within the Josephite Charism, we aim to be agents of Christ's vision and values to create a school culture where everyone feels welcomed, loved, forgiven and encouraged.
The St Brendan's community recognises and endeavours to develop the potential of each child through the school pillars of Faith, Community and Excellence.
We communally express our faith through:
- Daily interactions
- Daily prayer in the classroom
- Staff prayer
- Whole School Masses
- Year Level Liturgies
- Celebrating seasons such as Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas
- Religious Feast days
Parents and Carers are always welcome to celebrate with us.
School Prayer

Mary of the Cross Prayer
Dear God,
Thank you for the life of St Mary of the Cross.
She showed us that in the struggles and hard times of her life, you were there, loving and helping her.
Please be with me when times are hard, or I am afraid.
Please help me to love you just as she loved you.
Amen
